I'd love to know how you made these- my vector technique is so sloppy, and the lines are never beautiful and even (which drives me nutttsssss)!

I am happy that you like them.. the main reason these are nice vectors is that they are not vectors, I'm afraid. I made them through photoshop. vectors are way hard to make and I am forever envious of people that know their way around them.

See, I work in PS with the pen tool, and I just can't get my head around why my lines always end up being a bit 'kinked' instead of smooth and even when I create them. The curves always end up a little off and I get a nasty angled edge (barely visible) if I change direction. You did a really good job with these- they're lovely patterns : ).

Thank you. I am trying to start a little guide for the whole pattern making.. gonna start with the work path because it really is a heart breaker and perhaps the reason many people stop making patterns.. please add some questions if you have some (don't know if i can get the forum to work though) :)

A tutorial would be awesomesauce actually. I think one of the common problems with the path tool is the uncertain angles you often get if you alt+draw instead of simply continuing the path's natural progression. The trick is getting those curves really smooth and even- which is something that's quite hard when you're starting out.

Wow I didn't notice this until now, awesome work and thanks for the textures! I've started making wallpapers so they should come in handy :)
